Chapter Philanthropy and Service

In Spring 2015, the Greater Oxford ZTA Alumnae began working with Lafayette High School softball and football teams. Greater Oxford ZTA Alumnae are also supports of our local American Cancer Society's Relay for Life.

Lafayette High School Softball - Strike Out for the Cure

From 2015 to 2017 members have attended the softball game between Lafayette High School and Oxford High School where they handed out beads and pink ZTA ribbons to attendees.

Lafayette High School Football - Pink Out Game

We attend Lafayette High School's Pink Out football game where we hand out beads to all the attendees.

In 2015, Greater Oxford ZTA Alumnae partnered up with Lafayette High School for a pink out game. Members of our chapter who are breast cancer survivors walked out with the football captains for the coin toss.

In 2016, our chapter partnered with C-Spire Wireless, the American Cancer Society, and Lafayette County School District. Students at Lafayette High School raised funds as a competition for a donut breakfast on us. The students and faculty raised a total of $600 which was donated and presented to the American Cancer Society during halftime. The donated funds were matched by C Spire. We also had Emily Tingle, Miss Warren County, who is ZTA at Mississippi State University, join us and participate in the coin toss and check.
